No. Twerlo Connect does not charge for access to WhatsApp Business API. We will apply to WhatsApp through a WhatsApp BSP and once you are approved per WhatsApp’s Commerce Policy
then you can use our WhatsApp platform.

When you sign up for your trial, you will get access to Twerlo Connect, free for 15 days. You can receive free incoming messages and respond with free outgoing messages for free for 15 days. At any point during the trial, you can choose a plan and pay from within your account.
Yes, the feature is available, but not for free. You always pay for WhatsApp template messages. If you’d like to send templates, you can add credits to your account and send as many templates as you like, any time.
At the end of your trial of Twerlo Connect , your data and setup remains intact. You can login, select a plan to purchase and continue with any one of our paid plans.
That signifies our fair use policy. The customer fee per month is subject to a fair use policy of maximum 50 messages per customer per month.
You will then be charged for 1 additional user fee for every 50 messages exchanged with that user. For example, let’s say you exchanged 51 messages with 1 user. Then, you are charged for 2 users.
Yes. You pay first and use later. You will be charged your Monthly fees on the first day of your billing period. You would then need to recharge your accounts with prepaid credits in order to send any templates or chat with any additional users above the FREE limits allowed by your chosen plan.
Plans are annual. You can start/stop or make changes to your plan at any time (but note that refunds are not given for cancellation or downgrades).

Once you sign up for a Twerlo Connect account, you become the first Agent. You can then add your team members as Agents by inviting them, using their email IDs. Let’s say you have added 100 agents. Your brand can now have 100 parallel conversations with customers on a single WhatsApp number.
Bring your own number. You can give us any valid number (from any country) and we can set it up as your Official WhatsApp API number. We will send a One Time Password (OTP) to verify that you own the number. Remember that once you set up a number on the Official WhatsApp API, you cannot downgrade to a WhatsApp Business Account or regular WhatsApp Account.
Yes you can re-use a number but you’d need to delete your existing WhatsApp account before we activate it as your Official WhatsApp API number.
No. You will only need the phone to receive the activation OTP. Once you are verified, we don’t need the phone anymore for WhatsApp. You can continue to use it for making regular phone calls, receiving SMS text messages etc. But you can’t use WhatsApp on that phone with that number, again. You will need to use WhatsApp via the Twerlo Connect dashboard or the Official WhatsApp API.
No. Once the number is setup on the API, you cannot reinstall WhatsApp and use it with the same number. When you try that, WhatApp will say that the number is already in use. (Because it has now been setup on the API).
